Guitarist Ron Affif returns to play, Tania Grubbs and her deferred CD Release event, and Roger Humphries holds court for a late set - The Scene on WZUM
Ron Affif hasn’t been home to Pittsburgh since about 2016 - but he’ll be back in town this weekend - for a trio date at Con Alma, Downtown on Friday and a special “After Release” event for vocalist Tania Grubbs and her quintet on Sunday - an event delayed for 19 months because of the pandemic.
We visit with Tania on the deferred event - and with Ron Affif about a bit of his career and story.
