Pianist Bill Charlap stops by for a visit with Marty Ashby in the MCG Jazz Spotlight.

Bill shares some one biggest influences and favorite artists - including Miles Davis, Weather Report, Wynton Marsalis, Earl Hines and Bill Charlap’s wife, pianist and composer Renee Rosnes.

Pittsburgh has had a nice turn of visitors coming to town in the jazz scene as winter turns to spring - and we’ve also seen a great blooming of artists from here with new recordings making a splash at home and away.
