Vocalist Clare Ascani has a rich, smooth, and warm sound, with a style all her own.

Her voice and style has been described as a “Diane Schuur- Patty Austin-Diane Reeves-Carmen McRae kind of sound”.

After schooling and performing in Texas, Clare moved to New York City and then to Pittsburgh in 2001. Clare was immediately struck by the depth and rich historical musical legacy of Pittsburgh, and was immediately and warmly welcomed by the Pittsburgh music community and asked to perform with many of its well-known local musicians.
