Jazz Poetry Month at Alphabet City at the City of Asylum

An evening of free jazz improvisations of blues, nenie, dances, and ritual songs with internationally known pianist, Claudio Cojaniz. Between jazz sets, he will also collaborate poet Shauna Barbosa and poets from the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa for a jazz and poetry interlude.
