Christoph Irniger - the Pilgrim Quintet

The Christoph Irniger Pilgrim Quintet debuts their newest jazz collaboration “Crosswinds” on the Alphabet City stage.  The quintet Pilgrim, founded by Zurich based, tenor saxophonist Christoph Irniger, is one of the most exciting ensembles in young European Jazz.

Christoph Irniger is a Swiss saxophonist, composer and bandleader. According to the Sunday edition of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung he is “undoubtedly one of the greatest talents of his generation.”
