Gene Stovall is classically trained vocalist, abstract rapper, and improvisational vocal musician who writes and produces his original music by using acoustic guitars, loopers, synths, bass guitars, drum machines, and vintage microphones. Also know as STOVALIEN, Stovall is a sonic shapeshifter who merges genres, breaks expectations, and delivers performances that blur the lines between concert, jam session, and storytelling ritual. His music draws from a wide spectrum of influences from the worlds of RnB, Jazz, New Wave, Soul, Rock n Roll, Gospel, Grunge, and Hip-Hop.
