Paul Thompson's Waynetet - Stars at Riverview Park

Bassist Paul Thompson has performed with Maynard Ferguson, Stanley Turrentine, Bob James, and many others. On the Pittsburgh Jazz scene for over 30 years, he's pulled together the finest musicians to celebrate the legacy of the late, great Wayne Shorter and perform his iconic repertoire of jazz and popular music. More than a tribute group, the 'Waynetet' is carrying on the legacy of Wayne's virtuosity, creativity, and genius.

“Stars at Riverview” brings music to Riverview Park on Saturday evenings. So bring a lawn chair or spread a blanket on Observatory Hill for an entire summer of incredible musical entertainment.
