Saxophonist and composer Patrick Breiner—a fervent supporter of the local music scene and musician himself—presenting a suite of all-new compositions. These new compositions are inspired by saxophonist and Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Henry Threadgill, a man known for his tendency to push the envelope, who developed a new sound by basing his harmonies and melodies on intervals (rather than chords).

Patrick Breiner is a saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer in Pittsburgh, PA. He helped found the Tough Pill concert series, held on third Thursdays at the Government Center, which is rapidly approaching its three-year anniversary
