Women Of Neo Soul: A Tribute to Angie Stone - Kente Arts Summer Madness at Alphabet City / City of Asylum, Northside

This tribute will focus on the work of Angie Stone, an internationally known Neo Soul singer who was tragically killed in an automobile accident earlier this year. The two vocalists will cover a selection of Angie’s songs, along with nods to Neo Soul Queens Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and Ledisi. Backing up Anita and Anqwenique are the great Grammy Award–winning jazz, R&B, and Neo Soul drummer Poogie Bell, Chuck Anderson on piano, Glyn Lloyd on bass, and DJ Inez.
