Steel City Calypso - Stars at Riverview Park

Steel City Calypso is a steel drum-based, Afro-Caribbean ensemble. Their performances feature traditional Calypso music from the island of Trinidad in addition to music from other parts of the Caribbean and Brazil. These songs are delivered though the voice of the steel drum but also include the resonances of American funk and Jazz.

“Stars at Riverview” brings music to Riverview Park on Saturday evenings. So bring a lawn chair or spread a blanket on Observatory Hill for an entire summer of incredible musical entertainment.
