Lighthouse arts presents Thomas Wendt in a Brilliant Corners event “Live Recordings of Sarah Vaughan” in the new MCG Jazz Archives Center, Manchester.

Vocalist Sarah Vaughan had a long and varied career - from years with the bands of Pittsburgh natives Earl Fatha Hines and Billy Eckstine, to iconic recordings on numerous labels, from Musicraft, Columbia, MGM, Mercury and Roulette to the Pablo label with producer Norman Granz. Thomas Wendt focuses on the live recordings of Sarah Vaughan in this listening session.
