Evan David - PJO Emerging Artist Series - Carnegie in Carnegie

Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra and the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall continue their collaboration with a second season spotlighting rising artists alongside some of Pittsburgh’s most accomplished jazz musicians. This multi-generational series honors the city’s rich jazz legacy while highlighting the voices shaping its future.

Evan David is an increasingly in-demand saxophonist living in Pittsburgh, PA. Known for his versatility in many genres, he plays in groups ranging from electronic wind-synth duos, to jazz trios, to top 40s cover bands. 

As a bandleader, Evan runs Arcadia – A video game music band rooted in jazz. He arranges iconic songs from video games throughout the decades, often weaving in elements of popular jazz standards.
