Alex Weibel is an educator, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He plays guitar, mandolin, and other fretted instruments professionally in a variety of styles including jazz, blues, pop, and theatre.

Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra and the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall continue their collaboration with a second season spotlighting rising artists alongside some of Pittsburgh’s most accomplished jazz musicians. This multi-generational series honors the city’s rich jazz legacy while highlighting the voices shaping its future.
