Etta Cox is one of Pittsburgh’s most celebrated jazz vocalists and entertainers. Originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, Cox has spent decades performing across the tri-state area and beyond, earning widespread acclaim for her commanding voice and stage presence. She has been voted “Best Jazz Vocalist” in Pittsburgh for eight consecutive years and has received numerous accolades, including the Harry Schwalb Award for Excellence in the Arts, the YWCA Arts and Letters Award, and Talk Magazine’s Walt Harper All That Jazz Award.
