Lyndsey Smith and Big Jus with the Steeltown Horns and Deezil Money - Pittsburgh Winery, Strip District
Justin Short, better known as Big Jus, can be seen as a pioneer in the Pittsburgh area hip-hop scene. He had many notable releases in the 90s, which landed him the recognition of rapper Sam Sneed and eventually led him to California, and a working relationship with Death Row Records. The two went on to record, and create music while on the West Coast.
Having a voice that genuinely comes from pain and triumph, Lyndsey Smith uplifts and transforms listeners’ ears and spirits alike. Rightfully dubbed “The Goddaughter of Soul”, Lyndsey pulls influence from artists like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Whitney Houston.
