Music at Main: Especiaria: The Making of a Brazilian Jazz Album with Flávio Chamis

Latin Grammy-nominated composer and conductor Flávio Chamis will discuss and demonstrate the entire process, from musical creation to the final product, for his album of original songs, Especiaria, recorded at the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild in Pittsburgh.

Chamis was an assistant conductor for Leonard Bernstein, recorded with the Nouvel Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and served as Music Director of orchestras in Brazil and Europe. This event takes place in the South Wing Reading Room.
