George Heid III leads a fundraiser in his father’s memory event for Lighthouse Arts in Aspinwall on Sunday 7/12 at the former Heid Studios - we talk with George III about growing up there, and play music from his recent release Intentions, featuring saxophonist Lou Stellute.
Vocalist (and Cleveland native) Vanessa Rubin plays for two days at Con Alma next week (7/24-25). We play from her Tad Dameron tribute release from a bit ago.
