MCG’s Marty Ashby is joined by prominent Pittsburgh percussionist and jazz advocate, Thomas Wendt.

Thomas Wendt is a regular fixture on the jazz scene in Pittsburgh, and tours beyond, regularly, too. He regularly accompanies visiting artists to Pittsburgh, including Jimmy Heath, Benny Golson, Freddy Cole, Monty Alexander, Paquito D'Rivera, and many more. He also has leadership roles with the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, Lighthouse Arts and JazzPGH.org.
