One of the gigs coming to Pittsburgh the last week of August is a homecoming for guitarist Andy Bianco. We visit with Andy and hear some of his music from his new release “NYC Stories,” as well as his homage to Jimmy Ponder and Pittsburgh roots Homefront.

The jazz return in Pittsburgh includes boats, blues and salsa, too - with a return of the Roger Humphries RH Factor Boat Ride, August 22nd, the Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center in Cheswick the weekend of July 31 and August 1st, and an expansion on weekend of music ‘til midnight at the newly opened Con Alma, Downtown.
