Cuban Pianist Harold Lopez-Nussa brings his trio to MCG Jazz Friday night at 7:30 for his first ever musical visit to Pittsburgh. This first-ever visit to Pittsburgh is a part of a tour in support of his second record made for Mack Avenue, UN DÍA CUALQUIERA (On Any Day)

Much of Nussa’s music is tied to musical and rhythmic traditions of Cuba and the carribean, but often a mix of things, like the tune Conga Total.

A dual citizen of Cuba and France, Harold Lopez Nussa has an affinity for beautiful melodies. While on a recent family trip to Paris, he was inspired by a visit with one of his daughters to a french bakery, which led to the tune Ma petit dans Boulangerie
