The 16th Annual Monroeville Jazz Festival - Free and open to the public

Drummer and percussionist William. Jevon Rushton was born in and grew up in Pittsburgh. By the age of six, Jevon was already mesmerizing those around him with his dexterity as a young drummer. At age 14, he made the decision to cultivate his playing by studying at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) under the tutelage of jazz legend, Roger Humphries. Jevon has received many awards  and recently was honored to arrange the music for An Evening with the Musical Compositions of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
