Roger Humphries had never been in a big-time recording studio before he walked into Rudy Van Gelder’s for the Horace Silver album “Song for My Father.”
60 years later - that album revealed Horace’s biggest tune, and a phenomenal drummer and a modern jazz classic (and we have a limited number of Vinyl copies for our fundraiser, too!)
